Its notes of cherry, honey, flowers and apple, and its natural split formed after more than nine months on the vine, bear witness to a harvest at full maturity. (Its island production is among the smallest in the world.)

Planifolia from Mauritius: packed with vanillin

Planifolia vanilla from Mauritius is renowned for its high vanillin content, exceeding 4%. Its beans, covered in natural vanillin thanks to meticulous curing, deliver aromas of caramel and white flowers. A phenomenon we explain in detail in our article on vanilla crystallization.

The singularity of Pompona from New Caledonia

Pompona from New Caledonia, a subspecies shorter and stockier than those of Martinique and Brazil, releases aromas of banana, strawberry, apricot, cinnamon and lilac.

Wild rarity: Cribbiana from Guatemala

Cribbiana from Guatemala, among the rarest vanillas, grows wild, pollinated by hummingbirds and local bees. It offers aromas of green coffee, orange, caramel, candied fruit and chocolate.

Historical heritage: Planifolia from Mexico

Finally, planifolia from Mexico, the historic cradle of vanilla once cultivated by the Aztecs, gives off aromas of chocolate, currant and walnut — an origin steeped in history that completes this gift box.
