Vanilla Sotoarenasii
A Colombian vanilla of great finesse
Vanilla sotoarenasii comes to us from Colombia, a land still little known for vanilla. Botanically close to the famous planifolia, it shares its elegance while revealing a personality all its own. Paul Galand selected it direct from the growers, won over by its rarity and its surprising edible skin.
Delicate and unexpected aromas
This vanilla unfolds a fruity, refined profile:
- the juicy sweetness of peach
- an aniseed note of licorice
- the velvety roundness of tonka bean
Its edible skin means you can use all of it, with no waste: a valuable asset in cooking as in pastry.
Close to planifolia, yet unique
While its structure recalls vanilla planifolia, sotoarenasii stands apart with its fruity accents. As for texture, remember that a drier bean is not necessarily a flaw.
